Notes on this book:

Matt Stark did a great job when he published many fine books under the auspices of his Friends of the Bill of Rights Foundation.  He was a tough taskmaste

Although I am proud of this book in many ways, Matt and I had many disagreements. I learned that most of his other authors had difficulty working with Matt as did I. But he was the final editor and publisher. What he wanted me to say took precedence  over what I wanted say.

For most readers the first three chapters may not be very interesting. I suggest you start reading at Chapter IV.

Although publishing of this book caused an uncomfortable relationship between Matt and myself, we remained good friends until his death in 2018..
